Chaya is a graduate of Hampshire College, a Kripalu certified yoga instructor, graduate of the San Francisco School of Massage and has taught yoga and led support and writing groups at Windhorse Associates, the Freedom Center, Western Massachusetts Recovery Learning Community, Alternative to Meds Center, Mental Health Association of Portland and Portland Hearing Voices. She is a former Warm Line specialist at the Mental Health Association of San Francisco.
She currently consults with naturopaths and herbalists several times a month to stay up to date on supplements and herbs for recovery.
